Proverbs 29:18
  • 18  Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.  (KJV)
  • 18  Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law. (NKJV)
  • 18  Without revelation people run wild, but one who follows divine instruction will be happy. (CSB)

 

What is Going On?

The culture has changed...

The church has changed - Compared to Acts

 

Where Are We?

20  Woe to those who call evil good & good evil, who substitute darkness for light & light for darkness, who substitute bitter for sweet & sweet for bitter. Isa. 5:20

1  But know this: Hard times will come in the last days. 2  For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, demeaning, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3  unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, 4  traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5  holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people. 2 Tim. 3:1-5 (CSB)

  • The Word of God -

God’s Word is ESSENTIAL for us AND our society!

The Serious Consequences   of Lost Vision 

  •  Exo. 5:4 – to let go of their work
  • Exo. 32:25 -  naked (KJV); unrestrained (NKJV)
  • 2 Chron. 28:19 (see: 28:1-4) to be unfaithful to God
  • Prov. 29:18 - Without revelation (from God) people run wild, but one who follows divine instruction will be happy. (CSB)

What True Vision Can Give you! 

  • A Proper view of God, Isaiah 6:1-4 (He IS)
  • A Humble view of Men, 6:5 (We are sinners)
  • A Gracious Vision from God, 6:6 (God can Cleanse)
  • A Personal Vision FOR God’s Kingdom, 6:7-11
  • GOD CAN and WILL USE YOU… If YOU will let Him!  

You can Have 2020 Vision!

  •  God’s Spirit will use the Word to transform your mind and life IF you will surrender and follow Him!
  • You Can be His Child!
  • God CAN use YOU to TELL others how to Know Jesus!
